Robert M. Claes is a 1973 graduate of Quincy College in Quincy, Illinois. He is also a graduate of Loyola University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1976. He has been continuously licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois since 1976. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.
For more than 40 years, Robert has practiced law in Illinois, concentrating in residential and commercial real estate. Throughout his career, he has accumulated a depth of experience that ranges from representing buyers and sellers in residential closings, to the zoning of age-restricted subdivisions and the development of office buildings. Robert’s methods, office practices and procedures have been honed from his decades of experience in these areas of law, and he views his role in the process as being an advocate of clients’ rights, using his knowledge and experience to assist his clients in the timely and successful completion of their transaction.
In 2011, Robert welcomed his son Matthew into his practice and they subsequently formed the law firm of Claes & Claes, LTD together. Robert remains to be, objectively, one of the most experienced real estate attorneys in the southwest suburban Chicago area.
